It has been a long time since I have updated this blog...in part because I'm just not good at keeping up with it...and also because I took a little bit of a break from cupcakes for a while. Almost a year ago (whoa.) we welcomed our first baby, Elliott Lane, into the world. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during pregnancy and, honestly, just couldn't stand the temptation of all the sugary goodness that a Cutecake has to offer. Then, after his arrival, I turned all of my focus towards being a first-time mom...no longer trying out new icing recipes, but instead making homemade baby food! Anywho, I'm back! Need cupcakes?
